FAACT's Resource Page on COVID-19
Updated 9/4/22
Given the global spread of novel coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, we appreciate that these are uncertain and stressful times. The safety and health of all individuals is always the highest priority at FAACT. With the potential spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) within the United States, our medical advisory board encourages that all individuals follow the global health guidelines by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) along with your state health department website.
The following recommendations from the CDC should be considered:
- Avoid close contact (less than 6 feet) with people who are sick.
- Don’t touch your eyes, nose or mouth.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
- Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available.
- Use tissues to cover coughs and sneezes, then discard tissue in the trash.
- Clean/disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
- If you are sick, stay at home!
Although recommendations are quickly changing, everyone should make sure they have all necessary medications available at home with your action plans. Please reach out to your medical providers if you have a fever and lower respiratory symptoms, such as difficulty breathing, or any other specific concerns about your health.
