The Hershey Company is in the process of transitioning labeling for CADBURY Royal Dark Chocolate to reflect a recent change in the manufacture of this product. We are changing the allergen statement to identify that the product is manufactured on equipment that processes both almonds and peanuts, where in the past, only almonds were present.

Old Allergen Statement:
"ALLERGY INFORMATION: MANUFACTURED ON THE SAME EQUIPMENT THAT PROCESSES ALMONDS."

New Allergen Statement:
"ALLERGY INFORMATION: MANUFACTURED ON THE SAME EQUIPMENT THAT PROCESSES ALMONDS AND PEANUTS."

This transition is occurring during the 2015 holiday season. During the transition period, both products with an allergen statement for almonds and products with the allergen statement for almonds and peanuts will be available in the marketplace. As always, consumers with food allergies are encouraged to carefully read the labels of any product they select prior to purchase.
